About Us

The Valley Center Historical and Cultural Society was incorporated in 1976 and maintains a vintage house museum that was built in the 1880's and is furnished with antique furniture and house wares. Scrapbooks, photographs, family histories, Valley Center High School yearbooks, area cemeteries and school listings, and other documents are available to view.

There is a museum annex that houses old farm implements, fire equipment, lanterns, tools, and an extensive barbed wire collection.

Membership dues, fundraising dollars, and charitable donations are utilized to fund work that achieves the Society's goals.
