Municipal Court is held at the Valley Center Community Building located at 314 E. Clay Valley Center, KS 67147

Valley Center Municipal Court has court on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (except for November and December which is only the second Wednesday of that month). 

Court Dockets are as follows: 

  • 6:00p.m.- Traffic 
  • 7:00p.m.- Misdemeanors, etc.  
  • 8:30a.m.- Trials (2nd Wednesday of the month only) 

Please use the front parking lot and entrance to the building. Please be on time, as we do not know how fast or slow the dockets will proceed. 

Overview

The Valley Center Municipal Court provides a fair, competent, and reliable venue for persons charged with violations of the Valley Center Municipal Code to respond to charges.

Responsibilities

The Municipal Court Clerk accepts payments for fines, processes citations and Uniform Criminal Complaints (UCC's), attends court proceedings, and sets the court dockets. The office of the Municipal Court Clerk is located at City Hall, 121 S. Meridian, Valley Center, Kansas.  The clerk is also responsible for notifying the State Department of Motor Vehicles the dispositions of court cases.
